Loved it. The staff were very personal, the food was delicious, and when my daughter left her phone there they took care of it till we got back to them. We split the kra pow with chicken and discovered what hot really tastes like. They gave us 1 1/2 stars for heat. Evidently the scale goes to 10. Oh my! We love spicy food and 1 1/2 was plenty. We sniffles all the way to the car. I highly recommend Bangkok Thai! We loved it

The best Thai food and customer service ever. They are so friendly and always smile. They also have free refill for Thai tea. I am so glad that I found this place. I definitely come back here and take all my friends here.

I regularly order from here & the food is great every time. The best deal you can get here is the lunch special. It sits around 6-7 dollars and it comes with a large portion of almost any entree on the regular menu, an eggroll, and the soup of the day. One of my favorites in Panama City.

Excellent, authentic Thai food. Just a small family owned restaurant, friendly, ok decor, but very good food. Service was excellent, but was there at an "off" hour (2:30) so do not know how the service would be during a busier time. My wife and I had the Pad Thai, green seafood curry, red chicken curry, and Tom Yum (lemongrass soup with shrimp), all were large portions and very authentic taste. Pad Thai was slightly sweet, which is different then how most Thai restaurants make it, but was very close to what I remember when I visited Thailand many years ago when I was in the Navy. I asked for the Tom Yum to have medium heat (spice), but was hot - still it brought back memories of having it in Thailand. Highly recommended!

The Panang curry and Thai tea are my personal favorites here. The lunch specials are tasty, inexpensive, generously portioned, and piping hot. I really enjoyed this place...it's simple, unassuming, but it's not a dive. With regards to both the ingredients and the preparation, the food is simple yet impressive. To be fair, I wasn't a fan of the drunken noodles or the pad see ew, but I only like the thick, doughy, almost "crepe-tasting" noodles, as opposed to the basic wide egg noodle...but the sauce, prep, and spice was otherwise flawless. (Bonus: if you're dining in, the Thai tea is bottomless.) The staff are obviously interested in making sure you enjoy your meal. Everyone I've met in this place has been a straight-up sweetheart. They're super attentive, and the one or two times I've had to grab someone's attention, they happily made sure everyone got what they needed.

Just updating my review for 5 stars. Not sure why I didn't in the first place. I'm still in love with this place. It is still hands down the best Thai in PC. We've had everything from beef larb salad to Panang curry, pad Thai, Kaprow, and it is all amazing. The owner/cook and server are also very friendly so be sure to strike up a conversation with them.

Not sure if there is any difference in the quality of food between Thailand Restaurant and Bangkok Thai, but at least the people at Bangkok Thai provided excellent service when they heard I was a newcomer in town. It's a good sign when owners work hard to retain your business.

I don't like the interior, very cheap... but ironically the prices are high. On the other hand the food tastes good even though I am not a big fan of Thai cuisine. Took them a while to prepare two dishes.

Hands down the best thai food in Panama City! I normally don't lake time to do reviews, but I really want this restaurant to stay open. I'm telling you.. I've tried ALL of the thai places that they have around here and they were okay.. the places I tried had at least one or two things that were good but I never been to a place that I liked ALL of the food and its SOO tasty! Please do try this place.. you won't be disappointed!

Been eating here since it opened. Bar none the best and most authentic Thai food I've had in the states, at very reasonable prices. Everything made fresh, nothing premade. Be patient and you will be rewarded. I'm a Thai food fanatic and have eat at every Thai restaurant in town and the surrounding area. Just no comparison. The staff and owners and extremely personable and will adjust your order to taste. I usually get the papaya salad (sum tom), always made fresh and just the right amount of heat and crunch. The Thai beef salad is awesome, comes with seasoned tender steak strips in a citric sauce loaded with fresh lettuce and veggies (cucumber and tomatoes), I love to soak rice in the juice. I also love the Larb off the app menu, great as lettuce wraps with fresh cilantro and lime, very light citrus and tasty. Their soups are ample and not lacking in ingredients, seafood, meat etc. I've eat the lemongrass chicken soup, which is sublime, large bowl so great to share. The coconut milk soup is just as good, and I really enjoy the seafood, cost a little more but worth it, large shrimp, clams, scallops, and crab along with fresh veggies to include ginger, green peppers and taste awesome with the fresh jasmine rice mixed in. I've lost 50lbs eating this food, very healthy and low calorie. The red curry is my favorite of the curry dishes, coconut soup mixed with fresh bamboo shoots, veggies etc, I like mine Thai hot, and it does not disappoint. My wife and kids get the Thai fried rice, they make it "not hot" for them, they also love the crunchy fried calamari, and dumplings with sweet and sour sauce. The fried chicken wings are large and steaming hot when served. I've taken large family parties here, and I called the owner for a anniversary dinner with my wife, the owner drove home and cut fresh roses out of her garden and had them on the table when we got there! She served some complimentary sweet rice with sauce and fresh mango for dessert! They actually catered my daughters wedding. You can say I'm addicted to this restaurant! Hope you enjoy it like we do.

I have them five because it was clean, fast, fresh, affordable and great customer service. Those are the five criteria and they past. I ordered crab and cheese Rangoon which were light and crunchy with a sauce fresh made. Also I ordered the fish curry. It's fried fish and a tyipcal delicious thai red curry. There way of making had a great spice and delicious earthy flavor. If I lived here, this would be one of my weekly drop ins. Yummy. Great job and capooncan! Thank you in thai!b

Ate here for lunch ... I ordered the basil fried rice with chicken ... Got a 2 spicy on a scale of 1 to 3 with 1 being mild. It was spicy but I enjoy spicy food. It even made me sweat. The food was very fresh tasting and overall was delicious. I recommend this place and see myself coming back numerous times in the future.

Really good Thai which isn't exactly on every corner in Panama City. Definitely worth a trip to Callaway for authentic Thai cuisine. Had a great conversation with the owner/chef as well. Look forward to our next visit to family so we can go again and try more on the menu.

The Pad Thai was pretty good. The best out of all the Thai restaurants that I've tried in PC. Portions are pretty big compared to the other Thai restaurants in that area. The beef salad is also very good.

Love this Thai restaurant! It's definitely the best Thai place in the area - even on the beach. I mean, it's not as good as eating in Thailand - probably because the herbs and spices aren't as fresh, but it is really good...probably one of the better Thai restaurants I've been to in Florida. Out of the local Thai restaurants, this one seems the most authentic. A couple of the others seem to have "Americanized" their dishes. It's definitely not a fancy looking building inside or out, but that doesn't bother us. We do occasionally eat inside, but usually pick up our food to-go since we have a 2-year old and try to avoid the hassle of eating out with him. Speaking of our son, he just loves the Chicken Pad Woonsen there and chants, "noodles, noodles!" The food is great and so are the prices - 2 meals for less than $20! The service is also wonderful - the lady there always remembers us and our favorite dishes. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

They have the BEST THAI I have EVER had in the USA! Service is great and very personal. Everything is cooked to order and is delicious. I really love their Tom Yum Gai soup and Drunken Noodles. The Pad Thai is outstanding. We have eaten there several times for lunch and dinner.
